Thompson Kinney is an associate attorney for the Mullikin Law Firm.
Thompson graduated from Wofford College with a Bachelor of Arts in Government with a minor in Economics. At Wofford, he served as a member of the Honor Council.
Thompson graduated with a Juris Doctorate from the Charleston School of Law. While in law school, he served as a Legal Writing Fellow where he assisted in teaching a first year Legal Writing, Research, and Analysis Class. Also, he excelled in several classes and received the CALI Award (for highest grade in the class) in: Legal Research, Writing, and Analysis; Health Care Law; Contemporary Issues in Professional Responsibility; South Carolina Constitutional Law; and South Carolina Workers Compensation Law. Further, he was a Medical University of South Carolina Presidential Scholar, where he joined students from various academic backgrounds to explore complex social, political, and human issues of broad interest to health care professionals and biomedical researchers.
Thompson has extensive experience in government and electoral politics.HIs experience includes service on numerous campaigns, including campaigns for President, Governor, United States Senate, United State House and at a National Political Convention.
Thompson is a member of the South Carolina Bar where he will practice in several areas of general civil practice and assists the firm’s clients with public policy and political issues.
