Tom Mullikin attends Energy Summit, Washington DC
Managing partner Tom Mullikin was selected as a private sector delegate to the U.S. - Caribbean - Central American Energy Summit. Mullikin was able to meet with Vice President Joe Biden and Secretary of State Kerry along with other heads of nations and a few select private sector participants regarding critical energy and environmental issues.
The Summit included the United States, Caribbean, and Central American Energy Security (U.S.-CCA Task Force) to address and support efforts to reduce the vulnerability of small electricity markets in the two regions to global energy market volatility. A key objective is a boosting of competitiveness within the productive sectors to enhance economic prosperity and sustainable development within the regions.
The Task Force was a joint and collaborative effort that occurred through a series of meetings among officials from the governments of the United States, the Caribbean, and Central America, and regional institutions as well as various other partners supporting energy sector development in these regions.
